Just Believed What They Were Told By MMAH And
Would Not Investigate My Concerns...

In my opinion, the Office of the Ombudsman of Ontario is about the most useless government body we have. It has "no teeth" and "no power" and as such, municipalities, etc. are not afraid of the "not so bad big bad wolf" because it has NO TEETH!!!

Furthermore, they just kept repeating "go back to the municipality" when the issues were clearly much, much bigger than that! In my opinion, just another "we couldn't be bothered" organization - even in matters of public safety!

Unless the Ombudsman's Office has teeth and can actually impose sanctions... it is, in my opinion, a COMPLETE waste of taxpayer dollars - get rid of it because, as the Municipality of City of Greater Sudbury correctly stated...
"It Has No Jurisdiction To Act!"

The City of Greater Sudbury had "kicked out" the Ombudsman as its "investigator"... and not surprising to me given the Ombudsman KNEW of problems with this municipality was the fact that the Ombudsman's office did not put up much of a fight to remain as investigator for City of Greater Sudbury! In my opinion, he WANTED out of that municipality FAST!!!
