Municipalities, in my opinion, could be absolutely devastated by the "Cassidy's Calamity Judgment" as, in my opinion, it placed 100% of the liability for the determination of truss suitability and placement squarely on municipalities given "the engineer's seal meant nothing" and all claims against the engineer - a very powerful and influential engineer - one who help to set national standards at the Truss Plate Institute of Canada - had been completely dismissed!

Municipalities could NOT allow this "judgment" to stand. The implications for society as a whole - would be devastating!!
