If there is NO specific requirement that the truss placement guide be sealed by engineers in the law and given municipalities have, it appears, accepted truss placement guides without the seal of an engineer on it as documentation provided for a building permit application, who is at fault when a massive building scandal results as in this case and especially when courts allow engineers to escape all liability for what they did seal?

Guys in a lumber yard are NOT "qualified" and as such
should NOT be the ones "designing"the truss placement guide - the FIRST STEP in the truss design process - but that is EXACTLY who in my opinion,, IS designing the placement guide AND individual trusses - a secret those in "the industry" may not want the public to know!
