Thus, via these 2 organizations 1) The Sudbury & District Home Builders Association and 2) Sudbury Development Liaison, Marc Levasseur had the opportunity to interact with top City of Greater Sudbury Building Officials and City Councillors quite often... and when "problems arose", in my opinion, it can certainly be argued there were definite "conflicts of interest".
Likewise, via these same two organizations, City of Greater Sudbury Building Services personnel and city councillors had plenty of opportunity to ask Marc Levasseur to meet with them to discuss issues pertaining to his designs and/or ask that he re-do them when problems arose.
But, clearly, given the city waited for a building inspector to flunk our framing inspection, that was obviously not done and the city, in my opinion, simply chose to allow homes to go up with major structural defects... knowing full well those defects existed... and that, in my opinion, is criminal!
